O'Dell has been pastoring The Church of Jesus Christ in
Pierceton, Indiana for over 20 years. Bis. O'Dell
came into the church when he was 16 under Bis. Harvey H.
Perry of The Church of Jesus Christ in Ohley, West
Virginia. After receiving the Holy Ghost, Bis.
O'Dell soon received his calling into the ministry.
He sat under Bis. Perry for many years, and then met
Sis. Vanessa, who attended The Church of Jesus Christ in
Pierceton under Bis. Cecil Walls who pastored the church
at that time.
When Bis. O'Dell and Sis. Vanessa were married, they
moved to West Virginia and were the Youth Leaders under
Bis. Perry. After a couple of years, they moved
back to Pierceton, and a short while later, Bis. Walls
passed away. Those in charge at that time came to
Bis. O'Dell and asked him to take the church.
Since that time, there have been many ups and downs, but
still today, Bis. O'Dell has been preaching the gospel
exactly as the Bible states, and the same gospel that
was preached in the early church under the leadership of
the Apostles, is still the same message that is being
preached and taught today.

O'Dell refuses to change the message, for it is The
Message that changed him, and even though the
white-washed, watered-down messages that are being
preached today at so-called "Churches", at The Church Of
Jesus Christ in Pierceton, Jesus
Christ IS The Way, The Truth and The Life!
